Launched in 2015 by our Creative Commander & Chief Spiritual Office, J.J. Martin, La DoubleJ began as a shoppable magazine with the twinned purpose of selling her collection of vintage clothing and shining a light on Milan’s female creative captains. Propelled by J.J.’s maximalist, magnetic energy, La DoubleJ soon took flight in 2017 with original collections of new, feel- good fashion and homeware smothered in eye-popping prints, cut with easy glamour. Rooted in maximalist prints and the mood-boosting powers of chakra-conscious colors, La DoubleJ has established a unique ebullient identity designed to elevate one’s state along with one’s style. We went on to spread our joy juice across everything from our playpen-of-delights boutiques to our fashion week presentations and parades. Everything is created with the intention to create joy and raise your vibration.

What started with a one-off idea from founder JJ Martin to scour the untouched depths of the historic Mantero Silk Archive in Lake Como has blossomed into a global hotspot for feel-fab fashion and happy-making homewares that highlight the unique excellence of Italian craftsmanship. From our Murano glasses, each individually hand-blown by artisans in Venice, to our luxurious textiles printed on the shores of Lake Como, we use only the best quality, local materials, crafted by the finest artisans and historic producers in the country. We’re not perfect, but we take pride in how we produce, creating clothes and homeware that deliver high-impact happiness with as little impact on our planet as possible. Working with artisans in our back yard affords us a shorter supply chain and significantly lower carbon footprint, and while delivering products in small batches means our process is a little more “piano”, it means that we can do our part to maintain the natural abundance of our beloved Mamma Italia.
