CORSI DESIGN/Fish Design was created by Gaetano Pesce in the mid-1990s, in New York.

The idea was to elevate the singularity, the human uniqueness above all, as opposed to homologation and standardisation. The formula layed in the resin, able to turn into endless shapes and textures.

The Fish Design project, exactly as created by the Maestro Gaetano Pesce, considers the artisan essential part of the process: he must interpret each piece, from the choice of colours to the distribution of the material.

This is the fundamental spirit of the collection and the reason why every Fish Design item is different and unique.

The objects are soft, colourful, sensual. The expressiveness goes far beyond the object itself: they are imperfect works, which tell the story of who imagined them, who made them, who owns them.

Fish Design is the project in which Gaetano Pesce has reached a design peak, inventing what was not there before. He was an innovator in the use of the material, both technically and formally: he experimented with the resin, creating new formulas, techniques, shapes and objects.

A collection between art and design, which represented - and still represents - a unique case in the history of design.
